71 London Road
Mental Health Residential Limited joined the Crossways group in 2017 and the charities fully merged in May 2020. We run a care home for adults with moderate mental health issues at 71 London Road Southborough Kent TN4 0NS and also offer independent accommodation in an additional property nearby. 71 London Road is a quiet home with great support and care and with access to excellent local facilities.
The home comprises 7 bedrooms within the main house and a further two within a self-contained annexe. Residents also have the use of a large lounge, dining room, and garden chalet.
Support staff are available on the premises 24 hours a day. They are on hand to help residents according to their needs which may range from form filling, letter writing and budgeting to medication administration and helping with physical health needs such as diabetes. Three meals a week are cooked for the whole house and individual residents prepare their own the rest of the week.
Life at 71 London Road
Residents’ individuality is respected and we aim to provide support to enable the pursuit of personal interests and ambitions. This means that at any given time there may be a range of activities being organised with residents to meet their individual needs and plans. Comings and goings within the house depend on individual diaries. Some residents have secured regular voluntary placements, others are more homebased and may structure their day around different interests. This may include chess, arts/crafts, gardening, baking etc. and there are facilities for mini pool and table tennis. Residents are also supported to go holiday and day trips of their choosing.
This home is run by Grace Kuhepa and her team. Please contact them direct for vacancy details and any other information on 01892 515520 or by completing the enquiry form below.
