When you’re living with a mental health problem, or supporting someone who is, having access to the right information about options, treatment or practical issues is important.
For urgent help, many organisations provide immediate support through hotlines, crisis centres and online chat services which can connect individuals in distress with trained professionals who can offer guidance, support and intervention. Additionally, community mental health clinics and emergency services can provide immediate evaluations and referrals for further treatment for those in need of swift assistance.
Also available are local resources to help individuals navigate their mental health journeys on an ongoing basis.
We have put together below a list of resources and services that you might find useful, including what to do if you or someone you know is in crisis.
