Crossways Wins Local ‘Charity of the Year’ Award

Crossways Community has once again been recognised for its work in supporting adults suffering from poor mental health. Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s annual community ‘Love Where We Live Awards’ were presented at a ceremony at the Assembly Hall Theatre on Wednesday 9th October 2019 and Crossways was awarded ‘Charity of the Year’.

Crossways’ CEO Chris Munday writes:

We’re all delighted at Crossways to have won Charity of the Year at this Year’s Love Where We Live Awards’.  The award is a testament to all the hard work that our staff put in every day.  In particular we’re pleased to have been recognised for our new community café The Kitchen Table which is a café open to all but with a special focus on those people who struggle with poor mental health and their friends and families.  We are delighted to make this cafe a gift to our community in Tunbridge Wells and hope that many will come along and find support, advice, a listening ear and really great cakes !
